Columbia, Mo., Dec. 3, 2025 – Prost Builders, Inc. is a 2025 Better Business Bureau® (BBB®) Columbia Torch Award for Ethics winner.
BBB Torch Awards for Ethics recognize the businesses and organizations in our communities that meet the highest standard of trust. Three businesses are being recognized in the Columbia region this year.

Family-owned for over 75 years, Prost Builders, Inc. provides construction services for commercial, religious and institutional projects, including historic restorations. Their notable projects include the Missouri State Capitol building in Jefferson City, the EquipmentShare Technology Development Center in Columbia, multiple hospitals and the St. Andrew Catholic Church in Holt’s Summit.
Prost Builders, Inc. builds a culture of trust through ethics in business training, a company-wide code of ethics, and an Employees Stock Ownership Plan to engage passionate, construction-loving employees. The company is highly involved in industry organizations like local Rotary Clubs, nonprofit councils and the National Association of Women In Construction, and sponsors local events to support special needs students and the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, among others.
