This building exemplified a recent trend in Missouri to consolidate state agencies that provide public services. The facility includes offices, a medical clinic, a dental clinic, conference rooms, a beautiful reception area, and even a convenience store. This Design-Build- Lease project and the accompanying 500-space parking lot were constructed in less than one year after only a few months of design. After the lease ended for the State of Missouri, Veteran’s United took over the space and Prost Builders renovated the building specifically for the incoming business. A small basketball court, outdoor patio, grilling space, mind-body relaxation studio, yoga and Pilates class spaces, an indoor walking track around the entire building’s perimeter, game rooms, training rooms, and arcade area are amenities that Prost Builders constructed for Veteran’s United’s approach to enhancing their employee’s work experience.
