University of Missouri - Columbia Swallow Hall

About the project

Client: University of Missouri
Location: Columbia, MO

Swallow Hall was built in 1890 and originally housed the geology department on the historic St. Francis quadrangle, which is the oldest part of the Columbia campus. The restoration included rebuilding the “Witch’s Hat” that was destroyed by a tornado and setting it on its tower base to be secured. Careful attention to detail was necessary to perform the highest quality historic restoration work for the college.
