Prost Builders, in a joint venture with Fru-Con Corporation completed a $23 million addition to the University of Missouri-Columbia power plant. This attractive brick and stone exterior building houses two 12.7 megawatt electric generators with space to add another 12.7 megawatt electric generator-which would double the University’s power production capacity. The power plant also provides steam heat to the campus and chilled water for air conditioning.
