The Harry S. Truman Veterans Memorial Hospital Expansion and Upgrade of the existing warehouse for Pandemic Preparedness was a unique and challenging project. A 6000 square foot portion of the warehouse roof was renovated to add a mezzanine / upper-level storage. The warehouse had to stay in operation, so an enclosure was built over the top of the warehouse to prepare for roof removal and replacement at a higher level. Major HVAC and electrical upgrades were made to the existing warehouse for drugs and controlled substance storage controlled by the pharmacy. All work had to be done in phases to allow for uninterrupted use of the warehouse.
