The Missouri Department of Transportation Central Laboratory has consistently relocated from building to building since the early 1920’s. The purpose of the Central Laboratory is to support the transportation system of Missouri and ensure the quality of our roads is maintained at the highest standards. The Missouri Department of Transportation chose Prost Builders to build the new state-of-the-art laboratory. With over 200 laboratories, offices and related storage spaces, the design of this building allows efficient flow of highway materials for storage, testing and evaluation services.
