This project consists of an 83,100 square foot distribution center and warehouse. The purpose of this building is intermodal movement of cargo from rail to truck and truck to rail. This facility is serviced by the City of Columbia’s COLT and Norfolk & Southern railroads. The railroad track goes through the building and is used to unload 20 tons of steel coils via the 30 ton overhead traveling crane. The storage area is designed to handle the steel coils and a large laydown and storage yard on 15 acres, which surrounds the facility. Show Me Transportation is currently leasing the facility.
