The Cole County Commissioners contracted with Prost Builders to perform the challenging Annex project of converting the City Bank building, which is next to the Cole County Courthouse, into additional County offices and courtrooms. The project involved building a third floor over the existing bank building and constructing a connection at the second floor level from the Courthouse to the new Annex.
